I attended college at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD and earned by B.A. in Psychology and Special Education. I completed my Master of Science in Education (MSE) at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. I have a certification in school psychology which is Masters 30+.
I chose to enter the field of school psychology to work with children and make a difference in their lives. I knew I wanted to be a school psychologist when I was in 10th grade after the school psychologist for the school did a presentation in my psychology class. From that point on my goal was to be a school psychologist. I currently do the same presentation in our high school. |
Children and youth may have difficulty sustaining attention, lack study skills, or feel depressed or anxious. They may fall behind in their schoolwork, struggle carrying conversations, have difficulty organizing their time efficiently, lack self-discipline, or struggle in school despite their hard work. Part of my job is to help address these concerns and assist the problem solving team in developing interventions. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions, comments, or concerns. I look forward to working with students, parents, staff, and community members.
